The first four

I cant believe hes almost 4 months old now. Ever since we brought him home hes been a blessing. He has gained weight right on. at is 2 month he was 10 lbs already, Hes probably a good 13 or 14 now. There is so much thats going on now.. I dont know how I can fit it all in.. He was mainly breastfead for the first 3 and then we started supplimenting with formula and he now has the occasional bottle! Yeah mommy gets a break. Daddy is now working at the hospital so hes home by 3:30 every day to spend time with sammy! He is laughing and smiling and such a happy baby.. really he doesnt cry unless hes hungry.. thats it.. boy were we blessed! He flirts with the ladies in my small groups ( im a jr high leader) its too funny. He knows mamma and daddy and Grandma and Shelby.. He loves his Froggy mobile and his exersaucer! Hates tummy time but loves to stand. He has discovered his hands as well! Im trying to make this short and sweet. so hopefully I can keep this updated but for now this will do.. and an updated pic will help im sure!

okay so its been a year!

Well actually its been a little over a year! and alot has changed! After that last loss I was able to start right back up again and this time we added Glucophage xr to the mix and guess what.. It worked. I got pregnant and it stuck. I did have a rough pregnancy though. I got my first beta of 84 at 13 dpo and was happy that they were that high but I wasn't getting my hopes up yet.. my second was a few days later at 268 and I cried.. they actually doubled.. but we've seen them double and drop before so we waited a few more days and it was 1367! oh my gosh thats the highest it ever got... and again a few days later it was 2146, I was scared it didn't double but then I found out the higher the number the longer it takes to double.. so my mind was at ease. I think I got one more after that that was over 5000 so I was happy. but then the bleeding started.. I had spotting on and off for a while but the doc said it was all okay. We got to see the sac and then a few days later the yolk sac appeared then finally a heartbeat of 141! Boy did we cry! It was the happiest day. I began to get sick however and was getting dehydrated easily, I was in and out of the hospital for hydration about 12 times throughout the pregnancy and did end up having home IVs placed in which had to be changed every day because of my sucky veins I had whats called hyperemisis gravederium..basically morning sickness for 9 months yelch ..I did bleed a few times too.. but it all turned out to be a sensitive cervix! We found out it was boy when I was 19 weeks pregnant..we couldn't have been happier! We decided to make the big move and come home we put it all un GODS hands and HE came through like always, Tom had a job with insurance in 30 days and the house we wanted to rent came through. It was all in his timing. Around then I felt the baby kicking and it was quite weird seeing my belly do the alien! In November I had my baby shower and things really started to move along..but not fast enough.. I was sick and ready to meet my man..so at 38 weeks I was induced.. I arrived at the hospital and they inserted the cervidel and a few hours later broke my water and started the pitocin.. well 24 hours of labor and I still had only dilated to 6 cm, they decided it was time for a section.. I cried and was scared and couldn't move due to the epidural, It was basically very emotionally draining. But we pushed forward.. I dont remember alot because I had to be fully sedated. I was odly enough playing HALO 2 while having the surgery and a few hours later awoke in recovery! and I was a mommy! Samuel david came at 7:56 am on December 10, 2005 weighing 5 lb 8 oz. it was the weirdest feeling ever, I wanted to see my son for the first time so the nurse snuck him in to see me and I just lost it.. he was perfect..I didnt believe he was even my son..not to brag but were talkin anne geddes baby here! We had to work on breastfeeding and I was sore from the surgery.. but mamma mode kicked in and all the pain was nothing because I had to be there for my son!
*side note I did have an accident in postpartum.. they brought me soup and it spilled on my body and got 2nd degree burns on my breast and couldnt nurse off that side for almost a month! ouch! but through all this I thank God every day. I finally had my dream come true. I was holding my Son!
